We buy where the specification is best served, and we control what happens to it afterwards.
Tristar Enterprises is a Karachi-based trading house working across three business areas (commodity trading out of Pakistan, renewable energy equipment sourcing, and shipping and chartering coordination) for importers, wholesalers, distributors, retailers, food manufacturers, feed mills, industrial buyers and project developers.
- Sourced from Pakistan
- Equipment sourcing & supply coordination
- Chartering coordination
- English-language contracting
- Delivery worldwide, excluding Pakistan
Three business areas that were built to be used together.
Rice, sugar, salt, bran and wheat, bought where the specification is best served.
The trading desk sources food and feed commodities directly from Pakistan. Buyers come to us with a grade, a packing format and a delivery window; we come back with the mills and processors that can actually meet all three, and the price at which they can.
Every lot is bought against a written specification, inspected before shipment and documented for the destination market, so what clears customs is what was ordered.
Renewable equipment, sourced to specification and moved to site.
Solar, wind, hydrogen and biomass. We source modules, inverters, turbine components, electrolysers and boilers against your project specification, and coordinate supply and freight through to site.
Project developers, EPC contractors and industrial buyers use us as their supply line: one party for sourcing, supplier checks and freight to site.
The tonnage to move it, fixed on terms that survive the voyage.
We coordinate dry bulk and breakbulk charters through a network of owners and brokers: voyage and time charters matched to parcel size, laycan and route.
Charter party terms, laytime and demurrage exposure, and port agency coordination are handled by the same house that fixed the cargo, which is where most of the cost overrun in commodity shipping is avoided.
Six reasons a procurement manager keeps our number.
One country, audited end to end
Every lot is grown, milled and packed in Pakistan, so we control the chain from farm gate to port of loading: not just the paperwork.
One house, three disciplines
Cargo, plant and tonnage sit under one roof, so a shipment problem does not become three separate conversations.
Specification before price
Grade, moisture, broken percentage and packing are agreed in writing before a number is quoted. Nothing is left to interpretation.
Inspection before shipment
Lots are verified against the contract specification prior to loading, with independent inspection where the buyer requires it.
Documentation that clears
Export paperwork is prepared for the destination market, not the origin office: the difference shows up at the port of discharge.
Karachi-based, globally directed
A working port city as the operating base, and delivery to buyers worldwide outside Pakistan.
One origin, worked properly; every destination but home.
Every commodity we trade is sourced from Pakistan (grown, milled or processed here, and inspected here before it ships), which is what lets us hold a specification tightly instead of averaging across a shifting supplier list.
Cargo is delivered globally with the single exception of Pakistan, which is our operating base rather than a market we sell into.

The questions we are asked first.
What does Tristar Enterprises do?
Three business areas under one roof: Pakistan-origin commodity trading, renewable energy equipment sourcing, and shipping and chartering coordination. One counterparty for the cargo, the equipment and the tonnage.
Where do you source from?
Pakistan. Rice, sugar, salt, bran and wheat are sourced there against a written specification and sold to buyers abroad.
Which markets do you serve?
Importers, wholesalers, distributors, food manufacturers and feed mills internationally, alongside project developers, EPC contractors and industrial buyers on the energy side.
Can one enquiry cover more than one division?
Yes, and it often should. Buying cargo and moving it are handled by desks that talk to each other daily, so a single enquiry can cover trading, equipment and shipping together.
How do I start?
Send the specification, quantity, destination and delivery window through the contact form, or call the Karachi office. The enquiry goes to the desk that handles it.
