A trading house built around three disciplines, not three brochures.
Commodity trading, renewable energy systems and ship chartering, run from one office in Karachi for buyers worldwide.
Tristar Enterprises exists because buyers were being asked to assemble the deal themselves.
A food importer sources from one company, fixes tonnage through a second, and discovers at discharge that the two never spoke. An industrial buyer procures solar equipment from a supplier who will not comment on the installer, and an installer who inherits the wrong equipment. Both problems are structural, and both are what this house was set up to remove.
We are registered in Pakistan with the Federal Board of Revenue and operate from Karachi, a working port city rather than an administrative capital. The three divisions — trading, renewable energy and shipping — report into the same management, so a question about cargo, plant or tonnage is answered by people who share a corridor.
Three commitments that decide how we quote.
Precision
A specification agreed in writing is a specification we hold to, at origin, at loading and at discharge.
Independence
No origin, mill or shipowner has a claim on our recommendation. The buyer’s requirement decides.
Continuity
We would rather have one buyer for ten years than ten buyers for one shipment, and we price accordingly.
Every contract runs the same route from enquiry to discharge.
An enquiry becomes a written specification before it becomes a price. Origins are then matched to that specification, suppliers are vetted or re-checked, and the lot is inspected against the contract before it is loaded. Only then is tonnage fixed, and it is fixed against the delivery window the buyer has already committed to downstream.
Documentation is prepared for the destination market and confirmed before the vessel sails. Where the shipment is ours to move, laytime and demurrage are tracked as they are consumed rather than reconstructed afterwards from memory.
- Multi-origin sourcing against a written specification
- Pre-shipment inspection and specification verification
- Chartering, stowage and route selection in-house
- Export documentation prepared for the importing regime
